Pro-abortion activist and founder of Detroit Satanic Temple claims to abort her child on live television

Jex Blackmore, a pro-abortion advocate and founder of the Detroit chapter of the Satanic Temple, took what she claimed to be an abortion pill on a live episode of WJBK FOX 2 Detroit’s “Let It Rip,” saying that she was ending her pregnancy, much to the shock of the host and guest.

Talking about the abortion pill, now made legal and accessible through the mail without even a telehealth appointment, Blackmore said, “They’re incredibly safe. It is extremely easy and private and allows you to really self-manage your abortion.”

She then held up a pill and said, “I want to show you how easy it is, and safe it is, by taking it myself.” Langton, visibly unsettled, stumbled to ask, “You’re not pregnant, are you?” She responded, “I would say that this is going to end a pregnancy. This would be my third abortion.”

Blackmore insisted that her abortion was not a charade, that she really was pregnant. She said the effects were similar to an intense period.

Langton turned the conversation to Kiessling, who said, “I have a lot of friends who had abortions through the abortion pill and really there’s no dignity in losing your baby screaming in your bathroom and going through contractions and having to scoop up your baby’s parts off the bathroom floor.” She then discussed the ability to take an abortion reversal medication, which some experts dispute.

Speaking later, Blackmore said, “When I was invited onto ‘Let It Rip’ to discuss the availability of mail-order abortion pills, I thought that it would be an opportunity to demonstrate the ease and effectiveness of the medication, and it happened at the right time for me personally.” She added, “Taking the medication on live TV, especially a Fox affiliate, allowed the message to reach folks who normally would not be exposed to information about a medical mail order abortion.”

Blackmore went on to say, “The truth is that abortion is incredibly safe and doesn’t come close to the risk and trauma caused by pregnancy. Promoting abortion reversal shows a complete disregard of human dignity and health. People deserve accurate and safe medical information.”

Kiessling said, “With abortion, a preborn baby does not just magically vanish into thin air by merely swallowing a pill, as some may think.” She added, “Jex’s actions are extremely deceiving and make me think of someone pushing a button for a drone strike — it would appear easy enough, but in reality most people understand the carnage which will ensue and should be outraged at the tragic loss of life and the callousness with which it was done.”

This situation shows the depths of depravity to which our society has degraded. On live television a woman took a pill to kill her child while touting its ease and safety. As she promotes abortion by a pill that can be received in the mail without a doctor’s visit, Google blocks ads for an abortion reversal pill while allowing ads for abortion inducing pills.

Pertinent to this situation is the fact that Blackmore founded the Detroit chapter of the Satanic Temple before being kicked out. She is also known for creating shock-value art, gives lectures on Satanic feminism, and uses they/them pronouns.

So backwards is Blackmore’s thinking that she believes that abortion reversal would show disregard for human dignity and health while she promotes the pill which murders a vulnerable human being made in the image of God.

Tragic is the only word to describe what Blackmore did. America allowed abortion to exist in our society and now it is an insidious evil that has millions showing a religious devotion to promoting and celebrating it. We must fight and pray for the lives of children. And we must also pray for people like Blackmore, who is still not beyond God’s mercy.
