Ryan Helfenbein is the Vice President of Communications & Public Engagement at Liberty University and the Founding Executive Director of the Standing for Freedom Center, where he hosts the Give Me Liberty podcast. He is a regular Christian cultural and political commentator with appearances on Fox News, Newsmax, Real America’s Voice News, and Salem Media.

Ryan previously served as an advisor and public information officer for Kentucky’s 62nd governor, Matt Bevin. He earned his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin. Ryan and his wife, Lauren, have been married for more than 18 years and have four children.
