On Mother’s Day, the Trump administration launched Moms.gov, a new federal resource connecting mothers and families with pregnancy centers, health clinics, adoption information, nutrition guidance, mental health support, and practical help – a pro-family shift that tells women they deserve more than abortion.
On Mother’s Day, the Trump administration’s Department of Health and Human Services launched Moms.gov, a new federal website connecting expecting mothers and families with pregnancy and parenting resources, including pregnancy centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, adoption information, nutrition guidance, breastfeeding resources, and mental health support.
The site describes its mission as “addressing the needs of mothers and fathers who face difficult or unexpected pregnancies and ensuring the well-being of mothers and the health of American families.”
The website includes information on topics ranging from Trump Accounts and adoption services to breastfeeding, nutrition, mental health, and nearby health centers.
“This Mother’s Day, the Trump Administration is strengthening its commitment to America’s families by equipping mothers and fathers with the resources and information they need to build healthy, prosperous lives,” said HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. “Moms.gov delivers critical tools and support to help parents foster healthy pregnancies, strengthen young families, and create brighter futures for their children. This is how you Make America Healthy Again.”
“On Mother’s Day, we recognize that the health of mothers and the health of women are deeply connected,” said Deputy Assistant Secretary for Women’s Health Dorothy Fink, M.D., noting that, according to HHS, its Perinatal Improvement Collaborative has reduced maternal mortality by 41.5 percent. “We remain committed to supporting women’s health throughout motherhood and at every stage of life.”
The move stands in sharp contrast to the Biden administration, whose pro-abortion policies have come under increased scrutiny in recent months. The move also comes after two recent Justice Department reports sharply criticized the Biden administration’s treatment of pro-life and Christian Americans. On April 14, DOJ’s Weaponization Working Group reported that Biden-era officials collaborated with pro-abortion groups, including Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Federation, and the Feminist Majority Foundation, to track pro-life activists’ First Amendment activity and pursue FACE Act cases. On April 30, DOJ’s Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias released a separate report alleging that Biden-era federal policies and practices burdened Christian beliefs on life, family, marriage, education, and other core issues.
Live Action President Lila Rose expressed appreciation for the new government initiative in a post on X, writing, “The White House launched Moms.gov, a new website connecting women with life-affirming support. Abortion tells a woman she must kill her child to succeed. THAT IS A LIE. Mothers deserve hope, help, and real care. Every child deserves the chance to live.”
The National Right to Life also released a statement applauding the launch of Moms.gov. “National Right to Life is grateful to President Trump, Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and the Department of Health and Human Services for recognizing that mothers and families deserve real support,” said Carol Tobias, president of the National Right to Life Committee. “Too often, women facing difficult or unexpected pregnancies are told abortion is their only option. Moms.gov sends a different message — that mothers, babies, and families matter, and that compassionate resources and assistance are available.”
In addition to the release of Moms.gov, President Donald Trump released a Presidential Message on Mother’s Day.
“So much of who we become begins with a mother’s example. The confidence we carry and the lessons we live by are often first modeled by women who devote themselves wholly to seeing that our American Dreams come to life and that our potential remains unlimited,” the message declared. “Whether they are adoptive, natural, foster, or a guiding maternal figure, mothers cultivate our strength, unlock our talents, and encourage us to reach higher than we ever thought possible. Behind every leader and trailblazer stands a strong and devoted woman who made that ascent a reality.”

For Americans who cherish faith and family, the launch of Moms.gov marks a major shift toward honoring both mother and child as persons deserving of respect and support. Too often, those in power have treated unborn life as disposable.
Pro-life Americans have watched as federal agencies poured resources into expanding abortion, while offering little support to women choosing life and protecting the unborn. They also stood by and supported various efforts by federal bureaucrats, state legislators, and radical pro-abortion activists to smear, attack, intimidate, and cancel those who have stepped in to provide compassion and care to the most vulnerable, among them pro-life pregnancy centers, adoption ministries, foster parents, and local churches.
Now, for the first time in years, the federal government is taking steps to recognize what Christians and pro-life Americans have said all along: Women deserve real support, not pressure to choose abortion in times of hardship.
Scripture affirms the value of every unborn child. Psalm 139 tells us God knits each child together in the womb. Jeremiah 1 reminds us that God knows His children before birth. Throughout Scripture, children are called blessings from the Lord, not burdens. A nation that honors God must also honor the sanctity of life He creates.
A compassionate nation does not abandon women in crisis. It offers hope, encouragement, and practical help. Christians should welcome every step that brings America closer to a culture of life. Elections have consequences, and leaders set the direction for our country. A government that strengthens families, protects unborn children, and supports mothers reflects the values millions of believers have prayed to see restored in public life.
The work is far from finished, but for pro-life Americans, Moms.gov is a sign that the federal government can still tell the truth: a woman in crisis does not need to be abandoned to abortion. She needs courage, compassion, practical help, and a nation willing to defend both her life and the life of her child.
Abortion sells fear as compassion. Moms.gov points mothers toward help, hope, and life – and the Standing for Freedom Center exists to make sure America remembers why that matters. Your tax-deductible gift helps us defend the unborn, strengthen families, and equip Christians to stand for life in the public square.
