Planned Parenthood: ‘Any Reason Is the Right Reason’ to Kill a Preborn Baby

/

“It should be no surprise to us that a nation under God’s judgment, which has been turned over to depravity, would no longer act under the common grace of God’s moral law but would act outside of it in every possible way (Romans 1). It’s not enough to murder some children in the womb under “rare” circumstances — Planned Parenthood says we must murder them in any circumstance.”

Officials at Planned Parenthood have finally and officially said the “quiet part” out loud: Women should be allowed to have an abortion anytime, anywhere, for any reason. What used to be justified as “safe, legal and rare” is now being demanded for any possible circumstance because, in the words of Planned Parenthood, “any reason is the right reason” to kill an innocent preborn child.

Last week, America’s single largest abortion provider tweeted: “When it comes to your abortion, any reason is the right reason. Telling your abortion story is important, and the more we talk about this essential form of health care, the more normalized it becomes.”

Planned Parenthood’s tweet features a video of a masculine-looking woman, who believes she is a man named “Lucky” and who says that abortion is not just a “women’s rights” issue but a “people’s rights” issue — suggesting that abortion must be provided to not only women but also to women who believe they are men. She explains:

“My abortion was one of the greatest acts of compassion I had ever committed. It was an easy decision, and it was a decision that for the friends I had told I was trans, they were like, ‘Get it!’ ‘You know, that’s fine. Like, great!’ ‘You know — that’s your decision.’ You want to finally begin your life.’”

Typing that last paragraph felt insane to me. A woman who believes she’s a man says it is compassionate to take an innocent life in order to begin her own. You’re telling me that I’m supposed to take my cues on what’s compassionate from a person who can’t even objectively define what a woman is? The entire premise is selfish, wicked, and barbaric. But, sadly, this is the reality of our society today.

Depravity truly knows no boundaries. If you want to murder your baby because she’s a girl, Planned Parenthood says it’s “right” for you to do so. If your baby has one extra chromosome and has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome, Planned Parenthood says it’s “right” to kill him. If you don’t like the man who got you pregnant, if you feel like it’s a “bad time,” or if you simply want to “begin your life,” Planned Parenthood says it’s “right” for you to kill your baby.

This is why Christians and conservatives should never allow God’s commandments, God’s boundaries, to be pushed. No compromise. Ever. Once a line is crossed, there is no stopping the sinful, bloodthirsty desires of extremists. I know far too many professing Christians who will, to this day, adamantly defend abortion in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the life of the mother. Unfortunately, but predictably, justifying murder in some scenarios has paved the way for justifying murder in every scenario.

We’ve seen the same occurrence when it comes to sexuality. Conservatives and even some Christians were convinced that “whatever happens in the bedroom isn’t my business.” Then came the sexual revolution, pornography, birth control, and abortion. Following that came the legalization of gay marriage because, after all, “who are we to tell someone who they can and cannot love?” Today, we’re being told that putting pronouns in our bio is “loving our neighbor,” affirming someone’s delusion about their gender is righteous, and preventing children from being on puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones is driving them to suicide. Very soon, we will see a widespread effort to convince us to affirm pedophilia and polygamy.

God’s first command to us was to “be fruitful, and multiply,” and Satan has been working against that command ever since. In the same way that he is actively working to convince people that they are homosexual or transgender to prevent entire bloodlines from continuing, he is using abortion to slaughter entire generations of people. We shouldn’t be surprised when the world rebels against every command God has given us — and I do mean every.

The natural man whose mind is set on the flesh hates God and cannot submit to His law (Romans 8:7). It should be no surprise to us at all that a nation under God’s judgment, which has been turned over to depravity, would no longer act under the common grace of God’s moral law but would act outside of it in every possible way (Romans 1).

It’s not enough to murder some children in the womb under “rare” circumstances — Planned Parenthood says we must murder them in any circumstance. It’s not enough to be gay — LGBTQIA+ activists say children should be groomed to know about having all types of sex and changing their gender.

And that’s the point of depravity: It’s never enough. And such wickedness won’t end until hearts are changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Christians would be wise to realize this sooner rather than later, as the evil they have turned a blind eye will continue unabated until they are faithful to spread the Gospel to the wicked — or until Christ returns.
