Will the Real Kamala Harris Please Stand Up

The 2020 election has been a wild ride so far. Former Vice-President is rarely seen in public, and the Democrat Party has insistent that he pick a woman. More than 100 prominent Black American men called for Joe Biden to pick a black woman as his running mate. Under any normal set of political circumstances, this demand would have been considered to be sexist and racist. Can anyone imagine what would have happened if a group of Republicans had made the demand that a presidential candidate pick a white man as his running mate?

Identity politics is the name of the game. The goal is to get the woman vote, the black vote, the Hispanic vote, the LGBT+ vote, and any other voting block to build a winning coalition. Little if anything is said about following the Constitution, something every president and vice-president does when they are sworn in. Group politics is anathema to the Constitution. Many people might be surprised that the words “man” and “men” are not found in the Constitution. Neither are the words “sex” or “gender.”

Sen. Harris ran for President against Joe Biden in the primaries. She attacked the former Vice-President on several issues. She brought up how he worked with two segregationist lawmakers, one being the late Democrat Senator and former KKK member Robert Byrd. She attacked him on his position on busing.

She said she believed the women who accused Biden of inappropriate touching. “I believe them, and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it,” she told reporters in April 2019. What changed her mind?

Lesser candidates had to drop out of politics because of such charges. So, how does she meld with Biden after accusing him of racism and sexual assault? If she’s willing to compromise on two fundamental moral issues of our day, what will she compromise on as vice-president if she and Biden are elected in November?

Harris was an outspoken critic at the Brett Kavanaugh hearings. She bore in on Justice Kavanaugh but said nothing about the problems with Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony. Based on unsubstantiated attacks, she said that Kavanaugh “lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people” and called for his impeachment but offered no unimpeachable evidence. She attacked Judge Brian Buescher because of his religion. What does her attacks on religion mean for Christians?

Will she get the youth voter after saying the following? “What’s the other thing we know about this population? And it’s a specific phase of life. And remember, age is more than a chronological fact. What else do we know about this population, 18 through 24? They are stupid.” Yikes!

Like nearly all Democrats, Harris is rabidly pro-abortion. As a black woman, she makes no mention of the fact the black babies are disproportionately aborted in higher numbers when compared to whites. Long before he became radicalized, Jesse Jackson described abortion as “black genocide.”

Her views on economics do little more than lead to more spending and higher taxes. Harris, like her Democrat primary competitors, said that she supports free, taxpayer-funded health care for illegal aliens. There’s nothing that’s free. Someone is going to pay for it. Sure, we can print more money, but in the end, all that will do is devalue the money that we earn, save, and invest. Our national debt has hit the stratosphere. It will reach outer space if more radical economic policies become law.

Sen. Harris was a prosecutor. During her tenure, she imposed heavy sentences for light charges and pushed for civil asset forfeiture and bragged about it during her campaign.

You might be saying, “Well, she will only be the vice-president.” There is a great deal of worry about Biden’s mental acuity. If he wins in November and is not able to fulfill his presidential obligations, Kamala Harris will step in as President of the United States. Her radical politics will affect our nation for decades to come.

She agrees with Biden that the tax cuts that Americans got under Trump’s tenure would be rolled back. This would be a disaster for the economy. People often forget that tax cuts fuel economies. People with more money spend more, save more, and invest more. This means more jobs.

Kamala Harris is being positioned as a moderate, but that’s only because the Democrat Party has moved so far to the Left.
