The liberalization of Christianity is a big issue facing America today, and it’s been a long time coming—creeping in steadily and insidiously.

Some of our most conservative religious denominations have been infected with liberalism. It has invaded a lot of churches through youth ministries under the disguise of social justice ministry. And I warn people all the time that if you hear the call to “social justice” coming from your pulpit, you need to either stand up and fight back—or find another church.

In this era of the Trump administration, there has been an effort of late to marginalize Christians and get them disengaged from the political process. It has nothing to do with Scripture, but rather with left-wing politics. That’s why you have a lot of prominent evangelical pastors admonishing their congregations that if they vote for Donald Trump, they are committing a sin, or that they are not good people. The smears and slurs are rather disgusting, and they’re not just directed toward our President, but at Christians who are supporting him and his policies.

A lot of these “never-Trump” evangelicals are literally shaming a President who is standing up for the unborn, working to defund Planned Parenthood, and serving as the most pro-religious-freedom President in American history. He is the only President to ever stand on the lawn at the March for Life and speak to the hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers. But even with all this, there are never-Trump evangelicals attacking the President’s motives.

Instead of embracing the teaching of “judge not, lest you be judged,” they’re all about “judge not, yet we’re going to judge you.”
